Welcome
To The Official Website of
South Cobb Baseball
Directions to all of the fields are
here.
If you would like to purchase an Eagle Pass please see Maggie
Parker. They are $50 for adults and $30 for students and are good
for all home games. Adults will save $15 over the course of the
Varsity season. More, if you go to the home JV games. Check must
be made out to the school.
If you are working the concession stand you will still need to pay
at the gate to enter the park.
Coach Jay Chapman will be
missed by all of the players, coaches and students at South Cobb
High School. His family has asked that donations in his name
should be made to The
Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Our
thoughts and prayers are with his family and fiancé.
The 2010 Varsity
schedule has been posted.
SC Baseball Inaugural
Fall Classic
SC Baseball would like
to thank the AHS Cougars-Black, the South Paulding HS Spartans, Fever
Baseball, the North GA Barons, and the East Cobb Yankees and all
of the SC players and parents for making the tournament a success.
With your help, we were able to raise $1000 for flood relief and
received numerous donations of clothing, food, furniture, cleaning
supplies etc. that were donated to the First Baptist Church of
Austell to help them with their flood relief efforts.
Congratulations to the
Barons 15U team!
Thank you to all of the staff members and
members of our baseball team who helped to deliver food and
resource information to the members of our community...on a
Friday. Although I normally do not like to put a last minute
plan in motion, after hearing story after story from our
students, I felt compelled to act. I am very glad that we
did.
Thank you especially to Ms. Rich ,Ms. Rose,
and Ms. Scott for helping me to put the 250 sack lunches
together in about 4 hours! Also thank you to our Culinary art
students for helping stuff bags.
The need is very great and the people were
very,very appreciative.
Mr. Ashley B. Hosey
Principal,
South Cobb High School
If your son is a rising
junior or senior and wants to play baseball in college needs to be
exposed to college programs at showcase camps. They are evaluated
and coached by college coaches and players. Here is a partial list
of camps this fall. Jacob Morris was recruited by SCAD from the
showcase at Piedmont College.
