The South Cobb Baseball Booster Club

The Booster Club supports the Varsity and Junior Varsity programs with fundraising and other efforts. In order to compete and to build a successful program it is the responsibility of the Booster Club and the parents and players to raise money to supplement the budget that comes from the Athletic Department.

We would like to thank Dr. Grant Rivera and Atheletic Director Chuck Stines for all of their support and help in trying to get the situation at our field rectified. Please let them know how much we all appreciate their efforts whenever you see them.

We will also be selling the South Cobb hoodies and ball caps at various home games and school functions this year. The prices are listed below.

Anyone wishing to try out for the teams must have a completed Sports Physical form on file. It can be picked up at SCHS. Some of the local Publix now have medical clinics in them and are offering sports physicals for $25.

NCAA Clearing House - In order to play any sports in college, or to go on an official visit to a prospective school, you must have received clearance from the NCAA.

Baseball Expense Reduction Plan

This year we are instituting a new plan to help offset the cost to families. with the participation in any fundraiser, including sponsors, you will get 5% of all net sales/net proceeds refunded to you. The more you help the program, the more you help yourself.

We are selling South Cobb Eagle Hoodies. The Hoodies come in S, M, L, XL and XXL. S, M and L are $20 and XL and XXL are $22. We will be selling them at the PTA Open House on Thursday 1/24/08. It starts at 6:30.
